Funding is provided for local
Cliff protection groups working to protect areas of high conservation
significance in their community.
In September 1999, World
Wide Friends of Nature New Zealand was appointed by The Happy Foundation
as its Cliff Protection Fund Manager.
The purpose of the Cliff
Protection Fund is to encourage and promote the conservation of New
Zealand's natural cliff environment.
